Lambertville celebrates the largest fish in the herring family on Friday, April 27th, Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th. Each spring, the American shad migrate from saltwater to fresh water, called the “annual spring shad run.” Try Paul Eschallier of Bell’s Tavern’s famous Shad & Shrimp Fritters. Throughout the festival, there will also be live entertainment provided by a variety of musical artists. Shad Fest isn’t just for fish lovers, you’ll find a plethora of food and things to do.
Spring back into good health at the Ferry Market Health and Wellness Weekend. From Friday, April 20th to Sunday, April 22nd, a plethora of health and wellness professionals will give workshops, talks, and health assessments.
